About section

In Hua Hin, early childhood centres welcome children aged 2 to 6, who often spend their days in large classes with limited resources.

In the classrooms of a local kindergarten, every gesture counts: a smile, a game, or a song can make a real difference to the development of the youngest children.

This project was created to support teachers who often struggle to give every child the attention they need, bringing extra care and creative stimulation for learning English and other foundational skills.

As a participant, you'll accompany children through their daily activities — from lessons to playtime and care routines — bringing energy and warmth. It's an experience that combines discovering Thai culture with the joy of contributing to young children's growth.

📶 Wi-Fi, Linen & Laundry

💦 Living at the Houses

From a dip in the pool to a shared recipe and evening conversation, the accommodation becomes part of the experience: relaxation, great company, and plenty of stories to take home.
🛡️ Safety & Support

In Hua Hin, your safety is our top priority 🌞 We work exclusively with trusted local organisations, constantly supervised by our team, to ensure a secure and positive experience both during activities and in your free time.

🔹 Participant Screening and Safe Environments
Every volunteer is required to provide a criminal record check (police clearance certificate) before departure. We'll guide you through the process step by step: it's a simple formality that brings peace of mind to you, your fellow participants, and the community hosting you.

🔹 High Safety Standards
• All activities always supervised by experienced coordinators
• Clear instructions and safe tools provided for every participant
• Accommodation with lockable rooms and personal lockers
• Safe residential areas, close to shops and medical facilities

🔹 24-Hour Support
The local team is always available — including evenings and weekends — for any questions or unexpected situations. And if you need us, our HQ team is also reachable via WhatsApp at any time 📲

🔹 Training and Orientation
On your first day you'll receive a full briefing: safety guidelines, best practices for working as a team, and cultural guidelines for respectful engagement with the local community.

🔹 Good Practices for a Safe Experience
✔ Wear suitable footwear and clothing during activities.
✔ Use only the tools and materials indicated by the coordinators.
✔ Avoid going out alone at night or in isolated areas.
✔ Always follow the guidance of the local team.

💡 Our Goal
To provide you with a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment — so you can focus on what truly matters: collaborating, growing, and living an authentic experience in the heart of Thailand 🇹🇭
🧭 Orientation Day

In Hua Hin, your first day is dedicated entirely to settling in: the goal is to help you get your bearings, understand how local life works, and feel part of the group from day one.

On Monday, together with the local team, you'll have a relaxed but thorough introduction to your new surroundings:

• Welcome meeting and programme overview
• Practical advice on health, safety, and best practices for working outdoors
• An introduction to Thai culture, with interesting insights and basic Thai phrases
• A session on local customs: what to do, what to avoid, and how to move around respectfully
• A guided tour of the area with useful stops (supermarkets, transport, medical centres, key landmarks)
• Guidance on getting a local SIM, or the option to arrive with an active eSIM via Airalo

Beyond the practical side, it's also a great chance to meet your fellow volunteers, share your motivations, and start feeling part of the community 💛

📌 From Tuesday, it's time to get started!

From Tuesday, you'll begin the childcare and teaching activities, side by side with the local community.
✈️ Arrival Recommendations

To start your experience on the right foot, we recommend booking a flight arriving at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) on Sunday, ideally between 06:00 and 16:00. During this time window, our welcome and transfer service to Hua Hin is in operation.

If you arrive on Saturday, you will need to book an extra night at our accommodation (additional charge applies).

If you arrive after 16:00, a transfer can still be arranged, though a small surcharge will apply, or you can make your own way to us.

If your flight lands at Don Mueang Airport (DMK), you will need to travel independently to Suvarnabhumi (BKK), as all pick-ups depart exclusively from there.

Please send us your flight details as soon as you book, so we can reserve your bus ticket and arrange your welcome.

📍 Meeting Point

The meeting point is at Level 2, Gate 3 of Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK). A member of our staff will be waiting with a sign. 👉 If you don't spot them straight away, stay put — the team will come to you. Do not head off on your own.

🧳 Luggage

The included bus ticket covers up to 20 kg of luggage. If you have extra bags, you may need to pay a small surcharge (reimbursable up to 50 kg upon showing the receipt to the local staff).

🕑 Journey Time to Hua Hin

The journey from the airport to Hua Hin takes approximately 4–5 hours (including the bus and local transfer). You may share the ride with other participants arriving at similar times.

🚖 Departure Recommendations

Check-out from the accommodation is by 12:00 on Saturday. The return transfer to the airport is not included, as participants' departure times vary greatly. However, our staff will be happy to help you book a taxi or bus, possibly shared with other travellers.

We recommend booking your return flight on Saturday evening or Sunday morning, so you can leave the accommodation at a relaxed pace and reach the airport without rushing. If you plan to continue travelling in Thailand (e.g., Bangkok, the islands, or other cities), let us know in advance — our team will give you practical tips on organising your onward travel.

💡 After Confirmation

Once your participation is confirmed, you will receive an email with an up-to-date document containing all practical information and emergency contacts.
